Interactive packing checklist for Nepal treks. Filter by difficulty and season — tick off as you pack and print your personalised list.

The most common packing mistake on Nepal treks is bringing too much. Your porter carries your main duffel bag (maximum 15kg recommended) while you carry a day pack (5–8kg) with water, snacks, camera and layers for the day's hike. Every extra kilogram affects your speed and comfort at altitude.
Nepal trekking weather changes dramatically with altitude and time of day. The three-layer system is the standard: a moisture-wicking base layer, an insulating mid-layer (fleece or down jacket), and a waterproof outer shell. Mix and match based on altitude and season rather than packing separate outfits.
